Dosimetry Skills Lab 

 Our dosimetry skills lab is ideal for junior physicists or current dosimetrists interested in enhancing dosimetry skills and improving their clinical knowledge base with our Dosimetry Didactic/Lab Training.  

 The dosimetry labcourse is 3 weeks in duration and held in South Bend, IN.  Students will attend an intensive “Boot camp” style training course taught by professors who are currently engaged and experts in the field.  Also included is didactic lab training where students actively create plans and work with the advanced computer treatment planning systems used in the field.

Tuition is $4,000 with $1,000 deposit due by the start date.  Payment plans available. If full amount paid up-front, a discount of $500 will be given to reduce the tuition to $3,500.

 The Dosimetry Skills Lab will be completed at our facility in South Bend, IN.  It is an intensive “Boot camp” like learning style that will cover topics ranging from basic radiation properties to CT sim and immobilization.  For 3 weeks, students will attend classes conducted by professors who are currently engaged and experts in the field, as well as didactic lab training.

• Conventional Simulation & CT Simulation Basic
• Photon Dosimetry / Hand Calculations / Electron Dosimetry

• Electron Treatments
• CT Sim & Immobilization
•  CT Simulation & Treatment of: Prostate, Brain, Head and Neck, Breast, Abdomen, GYN and Extremity Cancers
